I got to see this photograph when I was in Santa Monica last summer. I love the concept behind this, very similar to my thesis from college. Photographs are such complex time capsules. Basically this is hauntingly beautiful.

Photo Phun

I have been wrestling with the idea of creating a photo diary of my time in Philly for the past few months. The idea is that this would be the a great way to test new techniques, methods, cameras, post-production, etc. During a time that many like to call "transitional" I am trying to hold on to my creative side.

This technique is a way to take digital photographs and turn them into Lomo replicas...or...control the uncontrollable.

Vintage Photos

The past week or so I have been obsessed with playing on Photoshop, discovering new post processing techniques and just re-vamping many of these unedited photos I have lying around my hard drive. Here are a few I have been working one from a road trip I took with my good friend Megan to the back hills of Athens County two years ago. Let me know what you think!
